LIAM COOPER

Who is Liam Cooper? He is more than a talented musician, he’s a musical entrepreneur. A performer and an ‘ideas man’ – Liam devotes himself 100% to music, his one true passion, translating his love of the craft into a flourishing career.

With a musical adventure that began as a small child, Liam had already performed in front of thousands of people at Sydney's Entertainment Centre for the NSW School’s Spectacular, sung the National Anthem at ANZ Stadium for the Sydney Olympics 10 Year Anniversary and entertained audiences at Tom Jones’ and Lady Gaga’s sold-out Sydney shows – all before graduating high school.

While completing a marketing degree at the Wollongong University, Liam became a favourite on the Sydney live music scene, where you’ll still find him behind the keys at The Soda Factory in Surry Hills on a Thursday night.

In 2015, the internet went nuts over Liam’s elaborate cinema marriage proposal. Clocking up 2 million views in its first two weeks on YouTube, the video now has over 10 million views. Bombarding social media feeds around the world, it attracted major attention from Time Magazine, MTV, The Daily Mail and Huffington Post, with national news and media coverage back home in Australia. Liam’s video literally became a hit, overnight.

On major steaming platform SoundCloud, Liam’s covers of Piano Man, Hey Jude and Rocket Man receive almost 10,000 plays every 24 hours, with total plays close to 10 million.

Taking the leap from piano bar to centre stage, Liam premiered his brand new show Kings of the Keys in 2018 to a sell-out crowd at Wollongong’s Anita’s Theatre. In 2020 Liam will bring this celebration of piano rock and roll royalty to stages across Sydney and regional NSW, backed by a killer live band of drums, bass, guitar and trio of horns.

And because performing on solid-ground isn’t enough, the world's largest cruise lines are already flying Liam around the globe to stage Kings of the Keys in some of the biggest theatres at sea, entertaining almost 20,000 people in 2019 alone.

Excited to start production on his first original music in five years, and an unshakable desire to see Kings of the Keys take residency on the Las Vegas strip, there’s no stopping this incredibly creative and passionate entertainer.
